Announcing NASPP DEI Scholarships!

The NASPP is committed to reducing barriers and increasing access to career opportunities at all levels. As a key part of advancing this mission, we are pleased to announce several scholarships for 2022 for equity comp professionals from traditionally underrepresented communities.  

Goals for the DEI Scholarships include:

  • To provide individuals from underrepresented groups in the equity compensation community with access and opportunities to advance their careers.
  • To provide the equity compensation community with increased access to a diverse pool of talented professionals.

Deadline to Apply

February 18, 2022

Eligibility

To be eligible, the applicant must be from a traditionally underrepresented group and demonstrate a commitment to the field of equity compensation.

Additional details for each scholarship are provided below:

  • NASPP Individual Membership Scholarship
    5 Scholarships Available
    Must currently be a non-member. The membership will expire after one year.
  • NASPP 2022 Conference Scholarship
    5 Scholarships Available
    Available to NASPP members and non-members. The scholarship will cover the cost of registration fees for the Annual NASPP conference to be held in October 2022.
  • NASPP Stock Plan Fundamentals Scholarship
    5 Scholarships Available
    Available to NASPP members and non-members. The scholarship will cover the cost of registration fees. The applicant must register for the 2022 course.
  • CEP Level 1/ECA Exam Scholarship
    3 Scholarships Available
    Must be an NASPP member with less than two years of experience in equity compensation. The scholarship will cover the cost of registration. All study materials are included in the registration fee. The scholarship does not include deferral or retest fees. Applicant must register for the exam in 2022 (either May or November).

Application Process & Requirements

  • Applications (including supporting documents) are to be completed online and must be submitted by Friday, February 18, 2022. 
  • A current resume must be included with your application at the time of submission.
  • Application must be complete to be considered.
  • A confirmation/acknowledgment of receipt of your application will be received after it has been submitted
  • Applicants will be notified of results via email in mid-March.
